EEAC Conference 2010 - Bruges and Tournai
The European Environment and Sustainable Development Advisory Councils EEAC will hold its 18th EEAC Annual Conference on the subject “Sustainable Land Use”.
In Bruges, on Thursday 14 October, internal EEAC-meetings are foreseen, as well as a public session with selected pieces of advice by EEAC members. Also, the Belgian council FRDO/CFDD organises a special event on “International Governance for Sustainable Development”.
The main conference day in Bruges, on Friday 15 October, is organised by the Flemish council Minaraad and entitled “Sustainable Land Use”. A statement prepared by the EEAC Working Group Agriculture will be launched. It has indeed turned out that the issue of land use is still underestimated in the sustainability and environmental debate.
The EEAC Annual Plenary Session (APS) on Saturday 16 October will be organised by the Walloon council CWEDD in Tournai.
